Schedule Views help you better visualize the schedule by date range and view. Under the tab ShiftPlanning at the upper right corner, schedule views can be changed based on the view type and the date range.
There are four types of basic views:
These can be seen in several view modes depending on the basic view:
You can view the schedule by Day, Week or 4 Weeks by using the buttons at the top left side of the Scheduler.
Day mode is helpful when you want better visualize the coverage for a single day. Click Day button at the top right or press the shortcut key 'D' to view the Schedule in Day mode.
Create a shift in day mode view and adjust the times by simply drag n drop.
Week mode view is the default view. Week Start Day is set to Monday by default, but you can change this from the Settings > Schedule > Week Start Date. Click the Week button on the top right or press the shortcut key 'W' to change the view to Week mode.
Click within the calendar grid to create a shift. Type the shift time and then press the keyboard button 'Enter.' Click Again on the created shift and the Shift Edit window will open up to adjust the shift details.
The month mode is available in List and Visual View. This view shows the weeks of the month along with the shift times, the staff assigned to that shift and the shift position indicated by color.
Under List/Month view a different view is displayed for the month.
The Employee view can be seen in the Week or Day mode. This view lists you to the left with your corresponding shifts on the schedule. In the Week mode, the shifts will display which position you have been assigned to.
The Position view can be seen in the Week or Day mode. This view lists your position to the left with your corresponding shifts on the schedule.
In the Day mode, the shifts will display the corresponding times.
The Visual view can be seen in the Week or Day mode. This view lists your shifts in a 24-hour bar graph.
Once you have your view you can navigate the schedule to different dates by clicking the arrows found at the top of the schedule.
You can also use the Month Calendar found at the top left. You can filter specific locations by clicking the button Location name or by the position by checking the check box for that.
