Objective

The objective of this tutorial is to demonstrate setup with one test account on Humanity and Okta.

Overview

Humanity supports SSO with Okta giving you the benefits:

  1. Mitigating risk for access to 3rd-party sites (user passwords not stored or managed externally)
  2. Reducing password fatigue from different user name and password combinations
  3. Reducing time spent re-entering passwords for the same identity

Things to know before you begin:

To configure Okta SAML integration with Humanity, you need the following items:

  1. A Humanity single-sign-on enabled subscription.
  2. An Okta account.
  3. You should have at least one user profile created on Okta in order to test this setup.

The scenario outlined in this tutorial consists of the following building blocks:

  1. Enabling the Application Integration for Humanity
  2. Configuring SAML 2.0 for Humanity
  3. Assigning Okta Users to Humanity Application
