Adding Shift Notes

Objective

The objective of this tutorial is to help you understand how to add shift notes for an individual employee or a shift.


Overview

Although it is optional, you can add detailed notes for an individual employee or a shift if you want him/her to have a detailed understanding before doing the job.


Things to know before you begin:

  1. You must have a manager/admin, supervisor and scheduler access privileges to add shift notes.
  2. You can navigate the schedule to different dates by clicking the arrows found at top mid of the app.
  3. There is no limit of characters while adding a shift note.


Adding Shift Notes


Step 1: Click ‘ShiftPlanning’ tab from the top panel as shown in Image 1.

Step 2: Click ‘Schedule Overview’ from the left-hand side filter panel as shown in Image 2.

Step 3: Create a shift or click on an existing desired shift to open the shift edit window as shown in Image 3.

Step 4: Click in the empty box and type to add shift notes as shown in Image 4.

Step 5: Click ‘Save & Close’ as shown in Image 5, now your staff will be able to view the detailed note particularly for that shift.
